About us
Debbi Heger, owner of Mona’s Mintage has been involved in dog rescue for over 15 years. She founded the Mona Pants Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non profit, in 2014 to raise money for animal rescue groups, sanctuaries, and shelters. In 2015, the foundation began supplying K9 Officers with protective vests. Each year, we find more ways to help our pet community.
In 2023, Debbi opened Mona’s Mintage which sells a curated mix of donated and new items in Downtown Zebulon. 100% of the proceeds fund the projects of The Mona Pants Foundation. Our current programs include:
Providing financial aid to rescue groups nationwide.
Providing K9 Officers with Protective Vests & Equipment
Providing Pet Oxygen Mask Kits to First Responders
Providing over 150 lbs of dog and cat food to our local food pantry weekly
Providing cat food to the volunteers in Zebulon that care for the feral cat colonies
